Back to Matosinhos for another fish dinner and among all the somewhat flashy restaurants was O Lusitano which looked traditional and welcoming, the smell from the chargrill with someone's fish was inviting so it was worth a go and glad I did ! Shared a tomato salad to start followed by a whole fish which was a very reasonable €25.20, cooked to perfection over the grill with a slight smoky taste. The fish was white and flaky and came away from the bone easily, served with some buttered baby potatoes. Just fresh fish cooked very simply but with expertise. Managed a small slice of homemade chocolate cake which was light and delicious. House white wine, Castello d'Alba was €9 , total for everything came to €44.20 , not too shabby for a Tuesday night night out in Porto. Service was lovely, very relaxed and friendly, a super meal in Matosinhos, if you like fish , do give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Todo en espectacular, la comida, la atención y amabilidad del personal y el precio Vale la pena venir. Hay sitios más elegantes pero estoy segura que no son tan buenos ni tan agradables Totalmente recomendable

Excelente local. Servicio super atento y familiar. La comida excelente. Pescado a la brasa en su punto. Sardinas, raya, calamares y un estupendo vino verde embotellado para la Casa. Precio muy ajustado.
