We were on a yellow bus tour when it drove the street, full of restaurants in the middle of lunch with open air BBQs. TA showed this to the number one in the area. A few hours later and a cheap taxi ride from the centre of Oporto we got a table. The quality of the seafood was superb. There is no fancy sauces or presentation, but the tastes were perfect. Minimum of fuss but maximum of flavour. Four of us shared a plate of sardines and cuttlefish to start. This was followed by sole on the bone , sea bass and prawns with potatoes and two plates of salad. We persuaded to share an assortment of desserts, which we didn't think we could possibly manage, but we had no problem clearing the plate. This seems to be a family affair with a daughter, mother , father and aunt looking after us. It was very good value with decent house wines. Looking forward to a return visit
