This tiny place was a welcome find and we met some locals who said as we passed that the food is very good. They were absolutely right! The quality was lovely. It’s a basic place with plastic tables which you could easily walk by. There were just a few choices on the menu which is always a good sign that it’s freshly prepared. We did a mix and match of bread, cheese, olives etc. The wine and port were also excellent. And very very cheap! There are some glitzy more expensive restaurants close by and a very touristy part where you’re pressured by the owners to look at the menus. By contrast O Cloche was a fantastic find.
