We decided back in the 70’s to leave the UK behind and start a new and very different life in the Algarve. Back in those days there was very little development and we knew we wanted to find somewhere small and quiet, somewhere that was never going to get `big´. After looking at different places and projects, we fell in love with the small fishing village of Burgau. Though tourist developments have grown over the years on the outskirts, the centre of the village has remained the same. We built Tempomar apartments stage by stage during the early 80’s (as well as the village church next door). Our family run the complex and have enjoyed meeting numerous families over the years, many have become good friends . Some who came as children with their parents are now returning with children of their own. We hope this continues for many more years to come. David, Audrey and all the family
