I love this restaurant! It has fantastic food and big portions at a reasonable price. It also caters for all diets and is in a beautiful historic setting. This is one of the few restaurants in Obidos that has options for vegetarians and vegans …. and they aren’t the usual run-of-the-mill options either, we had a fabulous vegan ‘Seitan a Portuguesa’ and a vegetarian ‘Vegetables a Braz’ dish. My husband also had a very tasty codfish dish that he very much enjoyed. The waiter was very helpful and extremely friendly. All in all I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

Lovely setting. Helpful and friendly staff and most importantly really nice food at a reasonable price. My wife is vegan and my son vegetarian. It is so very forward thinking of them to offer a quality vegan option (Seitan) as one of the vegetarian choices. Many restaurants only offer something vegan as an afterthought or nothing at all. Well done “Conquistador”. Highly recommended.
