What a discovery! In a side street, just off the old town of Beja, you will find this intimate great restaurant. The reviews and pictures were accurate. We had a delicious starter of deep fried sof shells crabs, something quite unusual in Portugal, but it was perfectly prepared, as was the generous portion of garlic prawns. The sliced steak was very tender and juicy. One of the better ones I tasted in years. The duck in an orange sauce and fried sweet potatoes were also a very tasty choice. All in all a very memorable meal, with attentive and kind personal service. Can highly recommend.
