We went to Solar de Madalena after our visit to the castle in the morning. It was a great choice. We had bifanas and they were delicious. Top-notch Portuguese fast food. Quantity and quality were excellent. The porc was tender and tasty. I tried a beef sandwich aswell. It wasn’t as nice as the porc bifana. All in all it was a great find. We could sit down, enjoy the food and get ready to explore the city some more. Update: We went for a second time and I had the soup & bifana combo. It was superb.

Wonderful service and very good Bifana com ovo. Could have used more meat, but tasty!

The perfect Bifanas on Saturday evening when others are already closed. Good location, quick and nice service, loved it!
