We had a full day and needed food close to our hotel and this place was around the corner. At that hour of the evening all they had was a few pastries in the case and bifanas. That's OK, the bifanas were outstanding and worth a trek across the city...our country. Perfectly juicy and flavored on lovely bread; this simple meal beat every other meal we'd had by a mile. Delicious. Wonderful. Delightful. Need I continue? The owner spoke just a little English and we spoke no Portuguese yet we had a delightful time interacting with each other. Great, simple place. The best bifana in the center of Lisbon. Juicy and aromatic. The atmosphere is great - very neighborly. Ps. I've been there about 20 times.

Bifanas délicieuses, soupe très goûteuse! Prix abordables. Nous y sommes retournés plusieurs fois. Le personnel trop sympa!!!
