Enjoyable - easy to lunch and yummyAfter previously visiting O Cantil we were not disappointed. We chose where we wanted to sit, in the shade or in the sun, lovely aired space to chose from. We were quickly seen too and our drinks brought to us. Felt waitor aeemed nervous around us slightly, but could have just been learning the ropes. Food was good and fresh. Excellent value for money. Was very happy with experience. :D
The worst meal I've ever had in the AlgarveWe were only on holiday for a week so it was disappointing to waste an evening having such a poor meal. I asked for piri piri chicken and not only was it all bones and little meat but I had to ask for the piri piri sauce as the waitress forgot it. The staff appeared to be too busy to cope so the atmosphere was hectic. We had coffee elsewhere as we just wanted to get away.
Much enjoyedWe had walked past this restaurant many times on our way to the sea front and not taken too much notice. However a couple of times we noticed quite a few locals in it so we gave it a try. I had sardines (for the umpteenth time on holiday) and my wife had a beautiful tuna steak. Both meals were very tasty and well prepared with not being expensive. The service was excellent and all staff and management very friendly. The outlook onto the main road was not particularly scenic but this did not detract from the ambience and pleasure of eating there. A definite must when we return to the area.
