Lovely evening meal for a family of three. Great choices, all delicious particularly the chicken kebab! Service was fantastic and attentive.

Forget about Hamburgers and Pizza downtown. For a wonderful experience of Portuguese cooking, this place is a must. For generations the restaurant is managed by grandpa in the kitchen and their attentive granddaughter waiting the tables for you. Normally I never post, but I am simply stunned by the shrimp dishes, the wines and the hospitality. If coming back to the Algarve, this restaurant would be a main reason!

Situated on the outskirts of Albuferia, O Cantile serves traditional Portuguese food with a rustic charm. We both went with the prawns with garlic starter, which was pretty large. I had the swinging fish kebab and wife took the fish of the day sea bass. Both were fresh and came with a side dish of potatoes and salad. Off season so the place was quite but waitress was very friendly.
