Like others read about it in the Inside magazine. It’s next to a charity shop where we went looking for golf clubs. Noticed everyone trying the lunch specials so we tried the duck rice and codfish rice. Both great. Lovely service. Good atmosphere. Will return in evening. Recommended as modern tasty local food.

Towards the end our holiday I happened to see this restaurant advertised in an online magazine whilst staying in Carvoeiro and decided to see what it was like before we went home . . . it was excellent so we ate here twice. And truth be told I’d have been happy to eat here each night until we went home in order to try as many dishes as possible. Picture perfect presentation with taste to match but not pretentious, everything on the plate was edible. We chose a wine that out of three bottles two were corked but it was handled with such charming politeness by the proprietor that it didn’t impact at all - the bottle we did have was a reserve, sensibly priced and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, not at all stuffy, exactly as you’d want. Social distancing and hygiene were strictly observed with frequent discreet cleaning of commonly touched parts. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and wish them the very best of luck and hope they manage to keep afloat through this difficult time, they definitely deserve to.

Nachdem wir diverse positive Bewertungen gelesen haben, besuchten meine Frau und ich dieses Restaurant in Lagoa. Die Lage ist sicherlich nicht die allerbeste. Dafür überzeugt die Küche, das Personal und der Chef auf ganzer Line. Endlich mal Tintenfisch ,der auf den Punkt gegart war, ein Entrecôte mit einer sehr raffinierten Sauce, alles war auf den Punkt. Dazu eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung und der Chef kümmerte sich sofort um die Klimaanlage als es meiner Frau zu kalt wurde. Das nenne ich Top-Service. Ein echt neuer Geheimtipp in Lagoa. Wir kommen wieder.
