Delicious dinner with huge helpingsI visited this place for dinner with my friend. We were greeted by lovely lady who explained us specials. I had mixed paella and my friend had pork dish. Both were cooked to perfection! Complimentary port was bonus. And they even had a Slovak flag on the wall..... it was great. I do recommend this place.
Authentic-ishIf you are looking for authentic home style portugese food you can't go wrong here. The decor is very in your face portugese much like OTT irish bars the world over but for me this added rather than detracted from our dining experience. The restaurnte is a little off the track but is easily found. We started with a portion of prawns (fresh from the market) cooked in oil and garlic at 15euro this seemed expensive for one starter but the one plate. was enough for two to share and so delicious. We then. were presented with the house speciality suckling pig which while first roasted was then portioned and served with potatoes in a sumptous dish with a sauce to die for in a huge pan with two platefuls for both of us. We ate it all. The deserts were homemade and delicious and we were given complimentary local licors to try.
