Great wholesome honest service, food and people. Fantastic value. Looked around and saw some more upwardly thinking restos nearby. Made the choice as the guy doing the cooking came over when he saw we were getting no interest from next door resto. He reminded me of fisherman back home, and looked like he'd worked the boats, landed the fish and was now grilling them. Waiter recommended the house wine , good vino verde and 6 euros a bottle. Went for sardines and the dorado, all came with potatoes and veg and also had the mixed red pepper salad. Tasty sardines, got 6 in a serving, dorado cooked to crispy skin perfection, yum. Lots of potatoes in skin with garlicky oil - too many to finish for me and wife. Got a complimentary digestif from a very cold metal barrel. Nice touch. For 2 it was 34 euros, soooo cheap and good. Fish should be served simple and honest like this all the time.

The place has amazing food for a really nice price! The restaurant seems to be a family place, simply decorated with portuguess moties. There is even a tv running soap operas. The service here was fast and nice. The guy serving us even showed the fish varieties and in the end of meal gave us some free shots of local drink. For a pretty small amount of money you will receive a lot of food. Everything was cooked outside at grill. We order half ports of squid and sardines, and 1 dorada fish. The portions are big (12 sardines full portion) but you can order in half. This was more then enough for 2 persons. Fish is served with potatos so don't bother ordering aditional salads because it will be too much food. ( salad - tomatos, grilled peppers, onions and olives - was good though, but too much to eat) I would definitly go there again.

Très bonne adresse pour manger du poisson grillé et des seiches avec en accompagnement des pommes de terres délicieuses, le tout grillée sur un barbecue à l'extérieur. Le poisson est frais sur un étal à l'entrée de ce restaurant très familial Un prix plus que raisonnable, 22 euros pour 2, entrée, plats boissons et café compris A lui seul, mérite le détour depuis Porto, pour y manger et voir ensuite l'océan
