This family style restaurant was an amazing find! We followed Tripadvisor's advice for a good place to have dinner and, as usual, all of you Tripadvisor guys were right! The restaurant is located on a street near the port, which has a long line of restaurants that have their grills outside on the street. Just the scenery of every restauranteur grilling their fresh fresh with an explosion of smoke and the perfume of grilled fish is a true experience in of itself! The fish on this restaurant was some of the freshest I have ever had. They show you the fish beforehand and even have you pick one yourself if you want! My husband and I had the Dourata fish, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. It came with oven roasted baby potatoes and the owner added a few calimari on this gorgeous plate to give us a taste... Delicious!! The husband and wife are a riot and the whole staff was friendly and very helpful. We wanted a small bottle of wine and the owner had us order a larger bottle because he said it would taste better and we would just pay for what we drank ... and it did! And we did!! For a humongous plate of Dourata fish, potatoes (a few grilled calimari thrown in as a taste), a delicious tomato salad, water, verde wine, coffee and grappa della nonna (grandmother's homemade grappa), as a taste, was ALL just €27!!! This place is a MUST when visiting Matosinhos!!

Scoperto questo paesino tramite un amico. Proviamo questo ristorantino tramite Tripadvisor,come sempre ottimo consiglio. Localino sobrio dove simpatia gentilezza e pesce ottimo ci hanno accolto. Due antipasti,un kg e mezzo di Rombo alla griglia,accompagnato da un vinello bianco consigliato dalla casa,per finire due dolcetti,prezzo 72 euro. Consigliatissimo.

Excelente restaurante para comer um bom peixe assado. Não conhecíamos Matosinhos e queríamos comer peixe, escolhemos este restaurante e não ficamos nada desiludidos. As lulas grelhadas e a dourada são muito boas, o peixe é fresco e estava bem temperado. Fomos muito bem atendidos e o preço é justo para a qualidade da comida. Certamente um restaurante a recomendar.
