Seeking an authentic Portuguese dining experience, we were lured off Avenue da Liberdade by a very persuasive guy who was trying to get some customers. We should have left immediately as there was a pervasive unpleasant smell in the restaurant but by the time we realised that we weren't imagining this, we had eaten the usual olives and bread. We hadn't the heart to leave as we had placed our order but a family sitting beside us left before they had anything. We had a main course of a type of fish stew but what fish it contained, was full of bones and proved to be a frustrating and not very satisfying dining experience. Once we finished the main course, we beat a hasty retreat and while the owners were friendly and maybe doing their best, I have to advise you to avoid this restaurant.
