Lovely fresh fish in a lovely setting Fresh sea food and fish cooked on the BBQ outside the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and honest to say they didn't have sardines because they weren't quite in season and they didn't want to sell frozen which we appreciated. We chose the prawns and they were stunning. The staff showed us afterwards how to eat them the portugese way with much less waste which was great to see. Highly recommend

Caldamente consigliato! Siamo stati accolti da Jose, un perfetto oste, simpatico, poliglotta e gentilissimo. Ci ha consigliato del pesce fresco che abbiamo trovato squisito, un vino tinto della casa altrettanto buono. Un conto onestissimo e alla fine della cena ci ha accompagnato alla fermata del bus per evitare che ci perdessimo. Obrigada Jose’

I am a foodie from Northern California visiting Portugal for the first time and choose this restaurant for an upscale seafood experience, I was not disappointed. I did have some apprehension after reading some of the negative reviews but went ahead anyway. This restaurant from start to finish was a classic example of wonderful food coupled with attentive, flawless service. The staff helped us choose some items and a nice bottle of wine and we had a delight time. The barnacles and seafood rice were standout items. We did spend about 100 euros each including wine, well worth it for a such a memorable meal.
