Worst Dinner in PortugalThe fellow that greeted and sat us was the chef /owner. The restaurant inside was a great display of everything Portuguese and looked so authentic. However the demeanor of the the chef was very gruff and unwelcoming. When we chose an entree he said it would take too long to prepare because he only had one other cook. He suggested veal chops as they would be easy. We would have left but already had our bottle of wine.
So the veal came and was very tough and dry. A plate of rice with various spoonfuls of sides accompanied the veal. The rice was undercooked and cold and the rest was very bland. We left without dessert. Another couple sat down at a table next to ours and when they saw our meal they were smart and left. Only a few people were dining. With so many restaurants, try another place !
