Awesome foodWe were staying nearby and took a wander to find a restaurant for our last night in Lisbon. Vasco caught us as we walked by and did a fabulous job of 'selling' us the restaurant. Food was amazing! Huge portions and delicious. I had the suckling pig, my husband the tornado steak (which was melt in the mouth). Sadly we didn't have space for dessert but we did get a lovely, free glass of port to finish off. Clearly a family run restaurant with a lot of love given to good tasting food. Highly recommend!
Post wedding anniversary dinnerThe experience was absolutely abysmal. I am really really disappointed it. There
was a young lad standing on the street calling people to go to the restaurant and Telling is that its a guaranteed good experience and really good food and service-good food so we believe them. We entered the restaurant and were unimpressed with the interior but decided to give the food a go.
We were looking at the menu and asked for a traditional Portuguese Caldo verde!
It was one of the worst Caldo Verde I’ve ever seen in my life! It was full of garlic and onions, when it’s supposed to be green cabbage.
The food from the starters were all wrapped in cling film, it looked like it’d been there for weeks in the fridge.
I had a T-bone steak for main course medium rare!
I just can’t describe what horrible stake I had on my plate.
Again my wife she asking for steak with papers sauce it was a horrible piece of meat filled with fat and nerves and a plate full sauce you could swim in It.
The wine list was an absolute rip off. They asked us if we wanted dessert but we were desperate to leave.
